My Journey
Born in Powell River and raised on Vancouver Island, I spent the bulk of my time living in Campbell River. After high school I spent a couple of years at North Island College in Campbell River and Comox, respectively. Majoring in Anthropology at UVIC, I moved to Jordan and then Egypt to explore and study the past. A master's degree later and after moving home I discovered that I was alarmingly underwhelmed. In search of something else... something new and exciting, I enrolled in flight school, became a commercial helicopter pilot and moved to Whitecourt, Alberta to work at Airborne Energy Solutions for several years. Around this time I became pregnant with my first child, Ezri Anne who is now almost 9 and thus put an end to my piloting career. I eventually separated from my children's father and made the long drive home with Ezri, my son Sam who's 7 now, and our four dogs.
After being home for a while I met a man who would become my mentor and change my life forever. He would begin a journey with me... a journey of discovering who I am and what my purpose is. I learned what I could from him and will always be eternally grateful for everything he's taught me. Finally, with some nudging I finally rented an office space down the hall from him and years later, here I stay. Enjoying what I do more and more every day, I will forever be in his debt. For helping me find myself, him and his wife, Gloria, will forever be in my heart.
When I'm not working, I spend the majority of my time with my children and our pets. Our goal is to have a hobby farm one day, complete with a couple of horses... or five... teen.
